BullTech, a French SARL (Société à Responsabilité Limitée) with SIREN registration 530991975 and registered office at Paris 75011, France ("we", "us") develops and operates MakeNess AI (the "App"), available on iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple Vision Pro. We are the data controller for the processing described in this policy.
The App is designed to work without an account. We process the minimum needed to run it, deliver AI responses, handle purchases, and keep the service reliable and secure:
| Category | What it is | Why we process it |
|---|---|---|
| Device & technical metadata | App version/build, device model, OS, screen size, App Store storefront country, coarse language setting | Compatibility, crash diagnostics, abuse/rate-limit protection, and showing correct regional pricing |
| Purchase & subscription status | Your Plan tier (Free, Basic, or Premium), subscription state (active/expired), and Sparks balance, tied to an anonymous identifier for your App installation | Verifying your entitlement to free, Basic, or Premium features via Apple's StoreKit; ensuring your current allowances are enforced correctly; and preventing fraud |
| Usage & cost ledger | Counts and timing of AI requests, and their category (text/image/video), linked to the same anonymous identifier | Enforcing fair-use limits, computing what you owe against your Plan or Sparks balance, and internal cost/abuse monitoring (see Section 6) |
| Your prompts, attachments, and generated content | What you type or attach, and what the App generates in response | Sent to the AI provider needed to generate your response (Section 5); generated media is temporarily stored, typically up to 24 hours, to deliver it reliably to your device |
| Crash & diagnostic reports | Aggregated technical logs when something goes wrong | Fixing bugs and keeping the App reliable |
We use the following categories of sub-processors, each receiving only what they need to do their job:
Some of these providers may process data outside the European Economic Area; where they do, we rely on their standard contractual safeguards (such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses) for the transfer.
We compute internal, observe-only metrics from usage and cost data (for example, grouping installations into broad usage patterns) to monitor abuse and manage infrastructure costs. As of the date above, this classification does not automatically deny, restrict, or otherwise decide anything about your access to the App — any such automated decision with legal or similarly significant effect would require your explicit consent or another lawful basis under GDPR Article 22, which we do not currently rely on.
If data protection law such as the GDPR applies to you, you have the right to request access to, rectification of, erasure of, or restriction on the data we hold about you, to receive it in a portable format, and to object to certain processing. Because the App does not use accounts, most requests will need you to provide the anonymous identifier from your device (available on request via Support) so we can locate the right records. Contact us using the details in Section 10; we aim to respond within 30 days. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
The App is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age required by your local law, if higher), and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with data, contact us and we will delete it.
We may update this policy from time to time; the "Last updated" date above will change when we do. Material changes will be highlighted in the App where reasonably possible.
Questions about this policy, or requests regarding your data, can be sent to contact+mnaicom@bullte.ch, or through our Support page.
